Elton Brand: Quality basketball player
Elton Brand heard all sorts of MVP talk last year and will continue to do so should the Los Angeles Clippers make the playoffs and advance in the succeeding rounds.
He has continued to shine in a conference filled with possibly the best big men in the league. He is far removed from his days with the Duke Blue Devils and in the Windy City as a Chicago Bull.
After being traded to the Los Angeles Clippers, Elton Brand reinvented himself as team captain and ultimately into the team’s leading scorer and 2006 NBA All Star. His leadership, sense of fair play and on – court integrity helped spur the Los Angeles Clippers to their best – ever showing and a second – round berth in the 2006 NBA playoffs. Time to state the obvious: Elton Brand ’s play this year will have major implications on the short and long – term success of the Los Angeles Clippers.
